The smaller size means it needs to be emptied every two to four days, depending on usage. Cleaning is easy; just wipe it down each time you change the bag. My only issue is that while the trash can is hands-free, the essential oil sprayer isn't. You have to press a button to activate it, which contradicts the hands-free feature. In the future, I'd like to see a fully hands-free model. Despite this, I'm very pleased with my purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for a hands-free trash can. Just remember, it's quite small, so consider that when making your decision. The small size works well for me as I prefer not to let trash sit for long, and it's great for saving space in smaller bathrooms.

It's not the most attractive trash can, but it gets the job done. My dogs used to rummage through the garbage, which was disgusting. Now they don't even try because they can't get into it.
